Mark grew up on Long Island before his parents moved to the Adirondacks when he was 10, and finally Greenville, SC when he was 14. He was saved in September of 2005 and called to ministry soon after. He attended Bob Jones University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and a Master of Divinity. After school Mark served as assistant pastor at Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. Mark was called to the ministry of Faith Baptist in May 2017 and began ministering as the assistant pastor in August later that year. He will begin his role as Senior pastor beginning January 2020. He teaches the youth Sunday school class, works with the youth, preaches a Sunday night series, assists with visitation, and assists as needed with any other ministry.
Apart from ministry, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife Rebecca, whom he met while in school and married in December 2009. They have two girls in heaven and are actively pursuing adoption by fostering. Besides spending time with his wife, Mark enjoys hiking, photography, reading, cooking, strategy board games, following football (especially the NY Giants and Clemson Tigers), tennis, and running.
